UNLV 1st anniversary and Amara hotel trip

I'm 21!!!

Happy birthday to me (: I'm experiencing a bundle of emotions now that I've hit adulthood. Happy and excited yet emo and afraid at the same time. I've been thinking alot about the changes that have taken place in my life, my personal self development over the years, the people who have come, gone and stayed in my life, the lessons i've learnt ( be it throught the hard way or through watching others) and have been giving alot of thought to the future that lies ahead infront of me.

I'm in the midst of setting life goals and challenges for myself and giving importance to things i never gave a damm about when i was younger. Now that i'm 21, I hope that for myself, and for the people around me, i will grow and be a better person, daughter, grand daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend.

Ok enought emo talk!! The other half of this entry wont be about my birthday. I have sooo many pixies to upload and more celebrations to attend so when i finish compiling them all, i will blog it as one entry

Though its back to school for me, i havent been dilligently attending classes as i should have been. this has to STOP!! from next week onwards, i will try my best to be punctual, not scrutinize Michael Tay and study for Teeter's class. Anyway, here's some stuff that happened on days when i do appear in school

- Celebrated UNLV's first year anniversary!! we are ONE!! (: gosh, one year pasts sooo fast and it feels like yesterday that i first stepped into my classroom. I never expected myself to get into this line and most of the time i still dont think i will end up in this industry. But i've stopped thinking about how i could be outside studying something else because i've grown to make the best use of what im studying and having good friends in school makes school life very enjoyable!

Our class also went for a field trip to the Amara Sanctuary Resort and Spa at Sentosa recently. It was also the day where BC and i tricked Yuan AHAHA. Anyway, the Amara is a beautiful six star resort hotel, with room rates only affordable for those living in districts 9,10 and 11.

The hotel has 3 different types of rooms. The normal rooms ( at $700), the suites ( $1200) and the Villas ( $1800). Each room is decorated with the Zen minimalist concept in mind and to bring guests even closer to nature, the rooms overlook a paranomic view of the sand, sea and sky. I LOVE the fact tha all the toilets in the hotel rooms were that they have the massage type lotus looking shower!!

this is the place where couples get married! omg....it looks so romantic in real life. The funny thing was mummy went to the Amara a couple of weeks back and when she walked past this chapel thingy, she started thinking of me getting married AWwww (:!!
