BC's Bday

Recently, i succumbed to my kaypo nature and did the unthinkable: i viewed his Facebook Profile.

I drew in 2 huge breaths to prepare myself for what i was going to see ;and how it would affect me. At first, i was kinda distraught by the photos, but after a while, i realised that there was nothing to be upset about. You are a huge ass liar but i guess i have myself to blame for even believing you one bit. You've moved on and i'm glad for you. i really am. And this time, i'm saying it with no bitterness in my heart.

It's been more than a year since our first breakup at vivo and i can still remember vividly everything that took place that day. i think this one year has aptly prepared me for whatever new r/s i will be in in future. I used to place my relationship on a pedestal, dropped many things i loved and revolved my whole world around it. But i'm wiser now.

After we broke up, i went through many phases and dated here and there. i had my angmoh phase, the 30+ year old phase, the partying till 7am every weekend phase, the 1.8m phase etc. but now i feel that i'm finally coming back into my own skin. And maybe all that dating didn't work out because i wasn't being me.

I used to berate myself for not moving on fast enough; especially since you so eagerly embraced singlehood and dating. I also felt like an ultimate loser because friends in the same plight as me somehow managed to start dating and getting into relationships wayyy faster than me. But I've stopped being so hard on myself now. I guess in everyones life, there is always a solo phase and depending on how u make the best use of it, it could be one of the best times in our lives. This phase in my life has taught me alot of things- what i love doing, who my good friends are and what's really important to me. And now, even though i can't believe I'm saying this, i'm not in a hurry to leave this cosy single life. If anything, it has made me not want to settle for anything less.

Anyway on a happier note, happy belated bday to BC!! ( makes growling beeecheeee sound) hahaa! Even though our bitchness sends me straight to hell ,i love you to bits! You're 22 so get out there and WORK THAT MACHINE !!!! LOL REPEAT AFTER ME: WE AIN't RUSTY!!

Last Saturday, Daemon and i caught the the Legendary West End Musical, WE WILL ROCK YOU by Queen and Ben Elton.

And it was AWESOME.

The vocals were outstanding, the cheography seamless, the guitar strumming was sexy, the legendary songs made the crowd go crazy with standing ovations and overall it was a spectacular musical. QUEEN is an AWESOME rock band, and as the cast belt out hit songs like " We are the Champions", " This crazy little thing called Love", " We will Rock you" etc there were goosebumps all over me!! And which band can actually compose a song like Bohemian Rhapsody without it sounding like trash?!?
