Birthday celebrations: cont'd
Went to zouk on friday. Was quite depressed before i went cos i looked very much like a fashion disaster, that is until i meet Fook, who decidely made it her aim of the day by getting me changed into a new outfit. So we went around town like 2 girls with a mission ( actually Fooky was the one with the mission, i was mopping around behind her) and did our fastest shopping ever ( a record 1/2 hour ) as we beat the shops to closing. I love fooky thank you for saving me the embarrassment and insisting on black stockings from that bitch.
Havent received all the pics from that day, but will just post what i have.
Fooky and i (:
We've been friends 8 years and counting, doesn't time just fly? Remember how we used to anticipate this day since the days we wore ( or rather I wore) our bata shoes and folded school skirt? I'm so sooooo glad that we are entering this new phase of our lives together because i absolutely don't know how i will get through it all without you. To a whole new journey of bitchiness, anti-aging lotions, collagen products, decreased metabolism, emo talks and bundles and bundles of joy, laughter and memories to be created and shared. I love you Fook, thank you for everything; i will always be here for you HUGGGGGGGGGGGSSSSSSS!!

The other bitch who screams very loudly, wins everyone on the dance floor, drinks like there is no tomorrow, listens to me cry and wail on the phone, loves bikinis as much as me and is God's constant reminder to me that he gave a miracle in finding a friend like her. love you Bec, its our FIFTH YEAR! omg, we've been bitching for 5 years straight?!?!

Lessons learnt at Zouk: very unsubtle signs that i am aging:
- My sister is clubbing. she is born in the 1990s era, thank you very much.
- The army guys are born in 1988 ( and to think i still fantasize bout men in uniform
- An abstract of a conversation between a 2 very matured looking girls outside Zouk" So which poly are u from?", " from Ngee Ann, u're from TP right, year 2? "
Oh God i couldnt continue listening. But well i'm sure at some point when i was in poly i must have made some aunties feel the same way. Life is one huge food chain.

Continuing on.. On my actual bdae, BC came to surprise me at home! WEEE! And she brought with her prezzies from everyone and supply of kinder bueno ! Caught Ratatouille again and left the cinema feeling malnutrioned. Yuan, BC and i walked aimlessly around for food, clutching our empty stomachs. We finally decided on having dinner at this HK cha chang ting at Bugis. It was the same branch which went to in JB a few months back and for nostalgic reasons, we decided to give the local one a shot.
Well, it was more like we were shot in the head for even deciding to try out that place. Talking bout the food there is an insult to my blog. Its at Level 2 of Bugis Junction. Near Seoul garden. To anyone who reads this post, please do not go there, and tell ur family and friends and ask them to tell their family and friends.
Well, the only good thing was that if it was ur birthday, the restaurant would give u a huge cup of milk tea for free! hahah the milk tea is large enough for 7-8 people. Being very greedy ( and cheapo) the three of us presumed that the milk tea would be no kick for us so we harassed and convinced the waitress to give it to us.
the HUGE milk tea :

Three of us officially suffer from Milk Tea Phobia.
